Product Details

A shrink wrap machine dispenses film which is loosely folded over a product. The film is then heated and forms a tight wrap around the product. The range of equipment available starts with a set-up of manually-fed film used with a hand-held heat gun.Stretch film is wrapped tightly around packages or objects to secure them together or keep them protected. Whereas, shrink wrap, is applied by first covering the item loosely; then heat is used on the shrink wrap, causing it to recoil tightly around the package.Stretch wrapping loads keeps them from moving and shifting during transportation, which is a major source of damage. There are certainly other ways for loads to be damaged during shipment, but stretch wrapping provides a measure of protection that increases the odds of “as made” condition arrival.
